| Nov. 1944 | The hand knitting machine manufacturing factory is founded in Suginami-ku, Tokyo. |
| Jul. 1957 | The company name is registered as "NIHON GARTER CO., LTD." |
| Oct. 1965 | "Puch card Knitting Machine" is invented. |
| Nov. 1963 | The punch card knitting machine receives the Tokyo Governor's Award at the 20th Tokyo Excellent Invention Exhibition. |
| Jul. 1972 | Nihon Garter receives British Blue Ribbon Award for the Punch card knitting machine. |
| Apr. 1979 | Nihon Garter develops embossed carrier tape molding method and starts production and sales. |
| Oct. 1979 | Nihon Garter receives the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce Award for the embossed carrier tape molding method. |
| Mar. 1980 | Nihon Garter develops, designs and starts sales of Taping machine (NCT series). |
| Apr. 1981 | Nihon Garter constructs the head office factory in Ome, Tokyo, and relocates the head office location. |
| Apr. 1985 | Nihon Garter receives the Minister of Science and Technology Award for achievements in promoting science and technology. |
| Mar. 1990 | NIHON GARTER PHILIPPINES INC. is established in Philippines. |
| Apr. 2002 | SUZHOU GARTER ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. is established in Suzhou in China. |
| Mar. 2004 | YAC GARTER CO.,LTD KOREA BRANCH opens. |
| Oct. 2004 | NGC GARTER (M) SDN, BHD. is established in Penang in Malaysia. |
| Jan. 2008 | Nihon Garter establishes Ome Second Factory. |
| Jul. 2007 | GARTER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is establishsed in Taiwan and started operations |
| Jul. 2005 | Nihon Garter becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of YAC CO., LTD. (currently YAC HOLDINGS CO., LTD.) |
| Apr. 2016 | Nihon Garter changes company name to YAC GARTER CO., LTD. |
