Product development that meets the needs of the times

YAC Garter was founded in 1944. For a while since its founding, it has been manufacturing "hand-knitting machines" such as pattern knitting techniques using punch cards and "GARTER" knitting machines. The technology and know-how cultivated through many years of development and manufacturing, and the "developer spirit" are also utilized in the equipment and systems related to electronic components, which are our main products today. In particular, our strengths in high-speed handling technology and know-how in developing ultra-small and ultra-thin products have greatly contributed to the electronic component industry, which requires miniaturization and flattening. YAC Garter has been developing devices and systems that contribute to labor saving while responding to customers' voices that "I want to do this". The representative product of YAC Garter is the "embossed carrier tape", which was developed for the first time in the world in 1979. Embossed carrier tape, which is responsible for the transportation and storage of semiconductor parts and greatly improves the efficiency of mounting work on electronic boards, is widely used not only in Japan but also overseas. Since then, we have been developing and manufacturing various devices and systems such as a Taping machine that wraps electronic parts in embossed carrier tape and LED Sorting machine that sorts semiconductors by rank. Our strength is that we have the technology to cover all of these devices by one company. No other manufacturer in the world manufactures both tapes and machines. Along with a variety of carrier tapes, we offer one-stop proposals for all types of equipment used at electronic component production sites, from design to after-sales follow-up.
